Book your appointment
Choose the service that sounds like the best fit for your dog. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we can help guide you.

Drop your dog off with us
At drop-off, we’ll quickly check your dog in and go over anything important we need to know.

Leave your dog with us
Most dogs settle much better once their owner has left, so after drop-off, we ask that you leave them with us to keep the grooming process calm and focused.

Wait for our text
Most grooms take around 1 to 2 hours, depending on the service, coat, behaviour, and how much work is needed. If that changes, we’ll let you know. If we say we will text, we will text.

Pick up and pay
Once we text you, your dog is ready to be collected. Payment is made at pick-up.

Prices vary depending on size, breed, coat condition, temperament, and time required. Additional charges may apply for matted or difficult coats.
Who’s Dave & Andy?
Dave and Andy are the heart of our story.
Dave, our late co-founder, inspired the vision behind Dave & Andy Dog Grooming, a space where every dog is treated as special, safe, and deeply cared for. Andy, who is still with us, carries that same love and personality forward and remains a big part of the warmth behind our salon.
My name is Renee, and inspired by the love of my dogs and a strong desire to spend more time with them, I was drawn into grooming and patiently built my skills while working alongside experienced women in the trade before eventually venturing out on my own in Te Awamutu.
For me, grooming is about more than just how a dog looks when they leave. It is about creating a calm, loving space where every dog feels safe, cared for, and treated as an individual.
